About The Job

As a Customer Support Specialist for Elegant Themes your main responsibility will be ensuring our customers have the best possible experience when interacting with our service through all of our channels. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, reliable, and understands the importance of every customer interaction. You will be working in a beautiful, light-filled room in the heart of SOMA in San Francisco. The team is small at our HQ as we are mostly a distributed company made up of WordPress Enthusiasts all over the world.

This is a full-time position available to on-site employees only. Employment includes full benefits, paid vacation, 401k Matching, commuter benefits, a competitive salary, and participation in our annual company retreat. Our last retreat was in Berlin, Germany!



  • Resolve billing and account related inquiries using our internal systems from but not limited to email, live chat, and social media channels.
  • Work directly with our Sales team to resolve problems in our signup process.
  • Increase efficiencies by driving process improvements.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, as required.



  • A passion for helping people and exercising empathy on a daily basis.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent typing skills and use of keyboard shortcuts.
  • ‚ÄčTyping speed of 60+ words per minute.
  • Excellent multitasking skills. 
  • Repetition is your friend and getting to inbox zero is your goal.
  • 2 years of Customer Service Experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Mac OSX.


Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in a high volume ticketing environment.
  • Experience with WordPress or Web design.
